KENOPSIA
An old man drives back to the now abandoned city of Cairo in order to reach his old home that he remembers from his childhood. Longing for his home, he takes us through a small journey through our protagonist which is the decayed city of Cairo. Through his eyes and the scars on the old city we piece together what happened to it and what is the reason behind him having to leave it along with the rest of the population in this far but not so fictional future. This student short animated film was made to explore the dangers of uncontrolled over population, pollution and climate change.
