FOR DESIGNERS & FILMMAKERS
OPEN CALL TO APPLY FOR FMD 2018 EVENT
FILM MY DESIGN (FMD) welcomes applications from all Egyptian designers and filmmakers (individual or collective) from all disciplines, irrespective of age, years of experience or country of residence. We are looking for passionate, creative and talented local designers, who have interesting design stories to tell, and filmmakers, who can uniquely tell stories through their own lenses. The selected participating designers and filmmakers will collaborate to collectively produce eye-opening, engaging, educational, appealing, impactful and inspiring Design-Film documentaries – the filmmaker documents the ‘design process’ of the designer(s) as the latter work(s) their way through concept, design and production. The final projects will be showcased and celebrated at FMD’s 2-day event in December through a film screening and an exhibition.
